Hi everyone, my name is Nataliia (@maksinota) and I love sharing my explorations of new cities, learning foreign languages and different cultures. I am fond of history, philosophy and art. I was born in the small Ukrainian town of Kamianka. I have been live in Kyiv, Warsaw, Tehran and Istanbul. I currently live in Vancouver.

In 2007, I graduated at the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts, majoring in accountant-economist. Having worked for several years as an accountant and economist, I realized that this science is far from me and it will be very difficult to achieve success in this field. Life among pieces of paper from nine to six seemed gray and boring. Than I decided to leave my finance career and go to work as manager in a sound recording studio Na Hati Records. And those were the brightest working days in my life. All those musicians whom I had listened to and seen on TV before, came to me and even called me on my work phone. I was lucky to meet Kuzma and become friends with the Ukrainian Scriabin band. It was here that I fell in love with Ukrainian jazz, having learned that it exists. While working in the studio, I graduated the Kyiv PR school BeFirst and started the SweatEr blog, where I recorded interviews with favorite musicians.

In Tehran, I attended lectures at the Dehkhoda Institute & International Center for Persian Studies, where I studied the Persian language, and also actively traveled to the oldest country in the world. After returning to Kyiv, I wrote an article for favorite Marie Claire magazine and attended a course of lectures on journalism and public relations at the Free Educational Platform. Also I studied the Polish language at the Polish House.

Every person is a new door to another world. And it doesn't matter what nationality, orientation or skin color - we are all equal and connected to each other. I remember how in my childhood I dreamed of collecting a whole library of old personal diaries. Having grown up, I decided to turn my dream into reality and began to write down the most interesting stories of people. I draw my inspiration from reflection and sensations from the surrounding world. I want to create my own island of independence in the bottomless Internet space, share my opinion, start collecting a collection of memories from my life. I write, of course, about travel. After all, every new kilometer overcome pushes the internal limits of any person who is constantly looking for answers. 

 Всім привіт, мене звати Наталя (@maksinota) і я люблю ділитися своїми дослідженнями нових міст, вивчати іноземні мови та різні культури. Захоплююсь історією, філософією та мистецтвом. Народилася у маленькому українському місті Кам'янка. Встигла пожити у Києві, Варшаві, Тегерані і Стамбулі. Нині проживаю в Ванкувері.

2007 року завершила навчання в університеті Культури та мистецтв за спеціальністю бухгалтер-економіст. Пропрацювавши кілька років і бухгалтером і економістом, зрозуміла, що ця наука мені далека і досягти успіхів у цій сфері буде дуже важко. Життя серед папірців з дев'яти до шести здавалося сірим і нудним. Поживши, як усі, вирішила закинути фінанси та піти працювати адміністратором у студію звукозапису. І це були найяскравіші робочі дні у моєму житті. Усі ті музиканти, яких слухала та бачила раніше по телевізору, самі приходили до мене і навіть дзвонили на робочий телефон. Мені пощастило познайомитися з Кузьмою і потоваришувати з гуртом Скрябін, сказати Луї Франку, що проект Esthetic Education був дуже крутий. Саме тут закохалася в український джаз, дізнавшись, що він існує. Під час роботи у студії закінчила київську школу по піару BeFirst та завела блог SweatEr, де записувала інтерв'ю улюблених музикантів.

У Тегерані відвідувала лекції у Dehkhoda Institute & International Center for Persian Studies, де вивчала перську мову, а також активно подорожувала найдавнішою країною у світі. Повернувшись до Києва, написала статтю для улюбленого журналу Marie Claire та прослухала курс лекцій з журналістики та піару у Вільній освітній платформі. Вивчила польську мову у Польському домі.

Вважаю, що кожна людина – це нові двері до іншого світу. І неважливо яка національність, орієнтація чи кольор шкіри – ми всі рівні та зв'язані один з одним. Пам'ятаю, як у дитинстві мріяла зібрати цілу бібліотеку старих особистих щоденників. Тоді я мала б справжню колекцію людських життів. Подорослішавши, вирішила втілити мрію у реальність і почала записувати найцікавіші історії людей. Черпаю своє натхнення у рефлексії та відчуттях від навколишнього світу. Хочу створити в бездонному інтернет просторі свій острівець незалежності, ділитися думкою, почати збирати колекцію спогадів зі свого життя. Пишу, звичайно, про подорожі. Адже кожен новий подоланий кілометр розсуває внутрішні межі будь-якої людини, яка постійно шукає відповіді. Приємного читання та натхнення!
